#throwbackthursday - My Many Colors Of Hair

Hey there Hey!

We are one day away from the weekend and boy am I excited!!! Around this time of year school ends and well that means that my not so little babies are graduating to the next grade level. Mommy is PROUD!!! On Monday 6/3rd, Bridget will have her kindergarten cap and gown ceremony followed by an award ceremony in her classroom accompanied by snack goodies to share with parents and classmates. Now Ms.Britney gets to celebrate her 5th grade graduation in a banquet hall the next day with her teachers and friends. She will even participate in the end of the year show doing what she LOVES to do best, DANCE!!! Her and 2 other girl friends will perform to #thatpower by Wil I AM, choreographed by Britney herself! Gosh I wish I could be there. Unfortunately this celebration is for students and faculty staff only. Can you believe that?!? ugh smh

Anyway, let me get to what this post is really about. It's #throwbackthursday. I don't know if you guys remember I posted a couple weeks back that I would be sharing on these particular posts old way back then pictures on Thursdays. Why on a Thursday you might ask, well, I don't know. I think it just sounds well together... Throwback Thursday.... Or way back Wednesday or even Flashback Friday, LOL.  So since today is Thursday ah throwing it back I will do. I chose to share some of the phases I went through with hair color. Let me know which one you like most and which one compliments me the least. I would LOVE to hear feedback.

So I have been a Blondey!!!

I have tried both blonde and brunette at same time!!! Can't figure out which one has more fun!!!

Auburn. One of my favorites!

Red Head Madness

This is the closest to my natural hair color. They say it brings out my eyes.

Auburn with blonde! Love this too, especially for the summertime.

The DARK and The LOVELY!!!

Oops!!! How did this get here?!? LOL Yes this is what I look like in the mornings sometimes o_O

XOXOXO

Memorial Day!!!

Hey there hey!

I hope everyone is doing well wherever in the blog-sphere you might find yourself. It's a gloomy day yet again on my side of the Empire. Our Floridian way of welcoming the summer time. That's OK though. Perfect excuse to stay snuggled in catching up on some post and other projects I have going on. But first, I want to take a moment to link up with Ponder Wonders Soul Food Monday on a Tuesday, (cause you know how I do), and recognize all the soldiers this Memorial Day that have willingly sacrificed them selves for our country with countless selfless actions to protect our peace, encourage our independence and fight for our FREEDOM!!! So today and everyday I will be grateful for these ANGELS sent to us from heaven.

God Bless America!!! Let Freedom Ring!!!

Group#1 or Group#2 ?

Hey there Hey,

It's a gloomy day over in my side of the Empire. And, to top it off my allergies are kicking!!! That is something usual with me. I have such a keen sense of smell that I guess the downfall would be allergies. Achoooo!!! you see there I go again sneezing and sniffle'n. So today I am going to link up with Ponder Wonders on a Tuesday for Soul Food Monday's and share a piece of script I saw over the weekend. It was from the movie The Signs by M. Night Shyamalan, with actors Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix. The movie seems to be an intense thriller involving a Father/Pastor (Mel Gibson), who has lost his wife and is now living with his younger brother (Joaquin Phoenix), and 2 children and they believe the world is coming to an end due to an invasion of Aliens. Or so I thought that was the only PLOT to the movie. I mean the movie itself is named SIGNS, so could it be it's more than what it seems? Have I not picked up the signs through out the movie? I guess I didn't... until I heard this piece of the script, which for those of you who haven't seen the movie or have, it made the ending so much more fulfilling to me than it ever had the many times I've seen it before. I absolutely LOVE LOVE movies with meanings and messages with the ability to transfer great information so we can somehow apply it to our own lives!

Life is all about perspective and the way we choose to interpret the unfolding in it. I truly believe that it wasn't meant for me to get the meaning of the movie until this particular moment in my life. When it would spark that innate knowledge. When my ears would hear that whisper confirming my FAITH. Maybe back then it wouldn't have given me so much as it did right now. Well obviously, cause I really thought the movie was just about Aliens.

" People break down into 2 groups when they experience something lucky. Group #1, sees it as more than luck. More than a coincidence. They see it as a Sign. Evidence that there is someone out there watching out for them. Group #2, sees it as pure luck. A happy turn up chance. For them the situation is a 50/50 chance. It could be good or it could be bad. But deep down they feel that whatever happens in their on their own... and that fills them with FEAR. Yep. There are those people, but there are a lot of people in Group#1. They see is as looking at a miracle. And deep down inside they feel that whatever is going to happen, there will be someone there to help them... and that fills them with HOPE. Now you have to ask yourself, what kind of person are you? Are you the kind that sees the Signs, that sees miracles? Or do you believe that people just get lucky? Is it possible that there are no coincidences...."

I would really love to hear what you guys think about the script. As I have mentioned plenty times, we all know I love a great conversation with depth and hey even the possibilities of a good ol' debate with opinions back and forth!

When I Look At You

Hi there!

Hope everyone is enjoying there day. As for me and my side of the Empire it's gloomy and stormy. Perfect weather to sit at my desk and catch up on some posts. I usually link up to Soul Food Monday's over at Ponder Wonders on Tuesday's for Monday's but being ill these past couple weeks has set me back and have my routine going out of whack! Sooooo with that said I will be linking up today on a Wednesday! Better late than never I would like to think. What I will be sharing with you today is a song that I heard today as my son was on his Ipad doing his usual browsing on you tube for videos and songs. I stay in AWE at times to see and hear what he finds. It was perfect as I was thinking what the heck I was going to write to link up there it was being rewinded over and over by Brenden and his tendencies for repetition. LOL Since Soul Food Monday is about inspiration and I felt such a connection with the song you may read the lyrics below as I share it with you. I'm not sure who wrote it but Miley Cirus sings it with such great feeling I couldn't help but to choke up and get teary eyed. This will definitely be a new song for to meditate too!

Everybody needs Inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody when the night's so long
Cause there is no guarantee that life is easy

Yeah when my world is falling apart
When there is no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I, I look at you!

When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home anymore
That's when I, I, I look at you!

When I look at you I see forgiveness, I see truth
You love me for who I am like the stars hold the Moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I am not alone

Yeah when my world is falling apart,
When there is no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I, I look at you!

When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home anymore
That's when I, I, I look at you!

You appear just like a dream to me
Just like kaleidoscope colors that prove to me
All I need, every breathe that I breathe
Don't you know, you are beautiful

Yeah, Yeah

When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home anymore
That's when I, I, I look at you!

Yeah, yeah, oh, oh,
You appear just like a dream to me
